200 Hour Yoga Alliance Program Your Journey Begins Here!
Want to teach yoga? Have you wanted to deepen your practice, learn yoga poses in depth, and learn yoga’s rich history and traditions? Happy Belly Studios, along with Awakened Yoga, presents Advanced Yoga Studies! Program Curriculum Includes: Learn to motivate and inspire your students; begin practice-teaching immediately! The theory and practice of asanas (poses), including assists, adjustments, alignments, and modifications. Study the anatomy and the benefits of yoga to our bodies. The theory and practice of pranayama and mediation practice. The elements of the subtle body, such as the nadis, chakras, and meridians. Yoga philosophy and history as imparted in the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali. The history and philosophy of the various styles of yoga. Business of yoga, and becoming a teacher in your community. The following books/guides will be required to be read before receiving your teaching certificate: Journey Into Power, by Baron Baptiste, Light on Yoga, by BKS Iyengar, Light on Pranayama, by BKS Iyengar, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, The Bhagavad Gita, and possibly other reading materials, lectures and texts.
Program requires reading and homework assignments, regular yoga practice at the studio, and a teaching internship at the studio (or another approved studio). Upon completion of the program you will receive materials to apply for a Registered Yoga Teacher Certification with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level! The training requires an application, and an application fee of $50 (to be applied to your tuition).

The weekends consist of Friday- Sunday. The hours are Friday 7am-10pm, Saturday 7am-10pm, and Sunday 7am-6pm
Yoga Teacher Training Application Fee: $50
Yoga Teacher Training Deposit: $500 (non-refundable)
Full Cost of the Program: $2600 (minus deposit) **** Can be broken up into 2 payments for additional $200 ($2800). Each payment would be $1400. Can be broken up into 3 payments for an additional $300 ($2900). Each payment would be $967. *******

Yoga Teacher Training Open House

We have the perfect resource for you! The Yoga Teacher Training Open House. We invite all students who are committed to or simply interested in the yoga teacher training to the Open House! You don’t want to miss this opportunity. During the session, you will learn about the training, the requirements, and what it takes to become a certified yoga instructor. You will also be able to talk to and ask the instructors questions about the program.

Pilates Teacher Training
The Pilates Certification is a 100-hour program. Do you want to teach pilates and pilates fusion classes? Do you want to deepen your understanding of this modality?
The training for Module 1 is scheduled for April 5-7 , 2013
The training for Module 2 is scheduled for May 31- June 2, 2013
The training for Module 1,will be onFriday- Sunday. The hours are Friday 7-10pm, Saturday 2-6pm, Sunday 1-4pm. The training times for Module 2 are TBA.
THE PROGAM INCLUDES MODULE 1 & MODULE 2:
- Pilates Mat I (intro to Pilates mat) weekend one, April 5-7,2013
- Pilates Mat II (intermediate/advanced Pilates mat) weekend two, May 31- June 2, 2013
Students will earn the full Pilates mat program through the weekend trainings ( both module 1 & module 2 are required), independent study, and apprenticeship.

Piyolet Teacher Training
Want to teach Piyolet?
We are holding our FIRST Piyolet teacher training on May 25-26, 2013. Come and learn first hand the techniques needed to be a great Piyolet teacher!
2 days, Saturday 2-430 and Sunday 2-430pm. Both days required for certification. Cost $295.00
PIYOLET is PI- Pilates, YO-Yoga, and LET -Ballet fused together in an amazing, fun and challenging workout or the entire body. 20 minutes of flow yoga, followed by 20 minutes of Ballet, and finishing with 20 minutes of Pilates! If you are even curious, you must try this class! A great all around workout for every level.
