Rachel Valcarce earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration from The University of Texas Medical Branch. She has always had a passion for fitness. After being diagnosed with a chronic illness, she realized that in order for her to live a long active healthy life she needed to make some changes. That’s when she found Pilates.
Encouraged by her progress, Rachel wants to share Pilates with others. Rachel believes that the mind-body-breath connection of Pilates is a healthy way to work the body and relieve stress. She believes that with consistent practice, one will develop a deeper sense of self awareness and control within one’s body so that one can enjoy an active lifestyle.
She has worked with many athletic clients as well as clients with scoliosis and auto immune disorders such as lupus, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis. She has her certifications in Pilates & Barre through Balanced Body.
