What’s a Barre redefined class like?
Set to upbeat music (to keep you motivated), our 60-minute class starts with a warm up and sequence of upper-body exercises using light free weights, push-ups and plank. It’s here that we target the bicep, tricep, shoulder, chest and back muscles. Then we move into a series of ballet barre exercises that focus on the thighs and butt– which we then stretch.
It’s onto core work and abs after that and our final stretch.
Is dance experience required?
No dance experience required. All types of people take our classes. We offer many modifications and our instructors will make sure you are in the correct position in class. We’re very hands-on and our main priority is your safety. We do offer private sessions, if you feel the need to get a better understanding of the positions.
